- This blog is intended to focus my divergent interests in space, place, and time, especially how they are portrayed in the written word and photographic images. I feel the often enormous scale of the landscapes moved through in California and the Western US is large enough to make even our passage through dense urban areas unique. When the landscapes are designed for the automobile and other beyond-human scales, pockets of space sit invisible, waiting to be found and explored.
